At KAS, we are committed to safeguarding and protecting our students from harm. We believe every child and young person has the right to be safe and protected. We believe that safeguarding students is everyone’s responsibility.
KAS endorses the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, of which Taiwan has adopted, and adheres to the Protection of Children and Youth Welfare and Rights Act of the Republic of China and related laws and regulations. KAS also works closely with Taiwan’s Bureau of Education and Ministry of Social Welfare to respond to safeguarding concerns.
