Child Safeguarding for French International Schools
The problem most training doesn't solve
A lycée français abroad runs on a mix of staff. Teachers on détachement, colleagues recruited locally, administrative teams, and the support staff who spend the most unsupervised time with your students. Some work in French, some in the local language, some in English.
Safeguarding only works when all of them have had the same training. Yet the child protection training that staff receive within the Éducation nationale does not automatically follow them abroad, and courses written for one country rarely translate to a network spread across more than 130 of them.
Our courses are available in English and French at every level, so your whole staff body trains together, to one standard, in a language they can actually work in.
